If there is one solid constituency that YSRCP boss Jagan is banking on for hopes of getting into CM Gaddi, then it is the large Muslim and Christian vote bank in Seemandhra that account for twelve percent of the total votes.
But in constituencies like Kurnool, Nandyal, Rajampeta, Nellore, Guntur and Godavari districts, Congress and Kiran’s JSP are also contesting well and though they may not win significant number of seats, they are bound to create good damage to Jagan.
Even if each of their candidates get 5000-10000 votes then that may dent the winning margin of Jagan. Also, MIM has placed its candidates in few Muslim dominated regions of Seemandhra and any splitting of votes in this scenario is also enough to harm Jagan.
Hence, sources say Jagan is using his links in Congress to make sure that even those votes are polled for him and he will later help them in time of need! Such type of secret understandings is common in politics.
