Beleaguered YSR Congress party president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has broken his silence and spoken to media. Unfazed by the drubbing, Jagan blamed TDP chief Chandra Babu Naidu for making “false promises” and hinted that people fall in Babu’s trap.
Jagan still boasts bold face and leveled allegations against Babu. Jagan claimed, “It is me who stood by students for fee reimbursement, hand loom weavers, farmers who lost crops. Chandra Babu Naidu would not be there when there were problems. It is me who fought for people. I’ll continue to fight Naidu by sitting in opposition.”
Shockingly, Jagan said he has “given” five more years “time” for people to reelect him, his party in the next term. Jagan said, “I’m giving 5 years time for people to bring us back to power.”
When asked about YS Vijayamma’s defeat, Jagan linked it to Narendra Modi’s wave. Jagan points out at sky and said he believed in God. It is conspicuous that Jagan’s attitude hasn’t changed at all even after sound defeat and clear verdict given by people.
