Kadapa MP YS Jagan who is being investigated for amassing huge wealth illegally has once again moved Court today seeking bail. Citing Supreme Court’s verdict that was given earlier, Jagan’s counsel felt that CBI is intentionally delaying the case, and expressed that their client is in all ways eligible to get a bail.
Jagan has lodged bail petition in Nampally CBI court today saying that the investigation agency CBI failed to file the full and final charge sheet in illegal assets case by September 8th as ordered by Supreme Court. Earlier SC stated that CBI should wrap up their investigation within next five months and that deadline ends by September 8th. However CBI managed to lodge three more additional charge sheets the other day by failed to lodge a final charge sheet. Taking Jagan’s bail into consideration, court ordered CBI officials to file a counter petition tomorrow.
On the other hand, CBI officials are saying that it is not possible to wrap investigations in stipulated time as Jagan’s case is related to not just local entities but international companies are also involved.
