Leader of Opposition YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s speech turned out to be a mix of goof-ups and faux pas. TDP chief and AP Chief Minister lamented at Jagan’s “poor” response on Governor’s speech. Alleging that Jagan “politicizing” the issue, Babu asked Jagan to “read news papers” in order to “get his facts right”. Chandra Babu clarified that Governor ESL Narsimhan has submitted a report to Centre stating that Andhra Pradesh has a deficit budget of Rs 15,900 Crores.
In a lighter note, Babu took a dig at Jagan and said, “Jagan should have prepared better for his first speech. His lack of experience is evident with this one example.” Naidu made it clear in the house that “TDP is the only party which is aware of organized leadership and teamwork. Babu further alleged that “Jagan’s statements only hamper the prospects of Andhra Pradesh. While we’re trying our best to bring funds from Central government, it is unfortunate that Jagan is working against it by issuing such statements.” Chandra Babu Naidu reiterated that he would leave no stone unturned to make Andhra Pradesh into Swarnandra Pradesh.
