In times of political upheavals, leaders have only option, which is to take proper political feedback and change themselves. Precisely it is this resistance to change which made the TDP boss Chandrababu Naidu sit in opposition for ten years.
When he was in power, there were appeals not just from rivals but also his friends in media that his style of functioning has to change failing which there would be enormous consequences and Naidu has realized it and changed to some extent in last decade and now he is back to power.
Now the common man and analysts are on the same page when it comes to YSRCP chief Jagan Mohan Reddy who has to forego a golden opportunity to be the CM of residuary AP by resorting to stubborn tactics, surveys by his coterie, inability to look long term and over confidence.
Jagan is still a force to reckon with provided he changes for the better. He has only one option now, to change his ways. There are rumors that several of his leaders are now planning to quit not because they are not a ruling party, but because Jagan has failed to boost their morale and even recently at YSRCLP meeting in Idupulupaya, sources say Jagan spoke as if the victory for even 67 MLA’s and 8 MP’s was due to him and failed to heartfully thank them for their cooperation!
