YSR Congress Party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is emulating the national parties in preparing party strategy to organise party campaign against the governments ahead of the elections.

It is learnt that Jagan hired the noted political strategist Prashant Kishore to prepare party’s plan of action ahead of 2019 elections. Prashant Kishore had played a key role in the victory of BJP under the leadership of Narendra Modi in 2014 elections. He was also hired by Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar who succeeded in winning Assembly elections second consecutive time.

Later, AICC Vice President Rahul Gandhi hired Prashant in Uttar Pradesh elections but the latter’s strategy did not yield results. Sources said that Prashant Kishore already visited Andhra Pradesh and interacted with different section of people to prepare political strategy for YSR Congress political campaign in next two years. Political circles says Jagan agreed to pay nearly Rs 200 Crore to Prashant for his service to the party.
