CBI Court in Nampally has once again declined permission for AP’s opposition leader and YSRC boss YS Jagan, who was being investigated by CBI for his role in various money-laundering and other white collared frauds related to the ‘disproportionate assets’ case.

Seeking relaxation to the bail sanctioned to him, YS Jagan has filed a petition in CBI Court as he wants to leave for Bangalore. Though Jagan was earlier given permission to leave Hyderabad for Kadapa, this time CBI counsel argued that the former CM’s son’s businesses are concentrated in Bangalore only and his presence there will slowdown the investigation process. Finding logic in CBI counsel’s arguments, Court declined Jagan’s petition to allow him to go to Bangalore.

YS Jagan, incumbent Pulivendula MLA and former Kadapa MP was named A1 in various charge sheets filed by CBI in connection with disproportionate assets case and also he has spent time in jail for 16 months.
