Sundeep Kishan Ra Krishnayya has ran into copyrights inconveniences. The producers of ‘Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya’ -Tips film Production Company slapped lawful notices to the creators of Ra Krishnayya blaming that the film is a clean copy of their film in every perspective including plot, form, manner, sequences arrangement and even on-screen characters style and non-verbal communication. They say that the producers have not acquired consent for the revamp and are wanting to attract them to courts or demand heavy compensation for encroaching their copyrights.
Ra Krishnayya producers however discredit these allegations saying that their film was inspired from English movie ‘A Life Less Ordinary’ by Danny Boyle, from which the Hindi producers also inspired. Since both the movies are inspired from the same film, there may be a few similarities which are unintentional and coincidence. Ra Krishnayya in spite of the terrible talk wound up as a profitable film for buyers and distributors in all the territories. The movie was made with a budget of 5.5 Crores and the money was recouped from the first week collections and the satellite rights.
Earlier same situation faced by Sidharth starrer Jabardasth. Yash Raj films filed case against the film claiming that its a free make of Band Bajaa Baraat. This time Tips raised the issue with Ra ra Krishnayya we have to wait and see what will happen next.
