With general elections in Telangana coming to end, all eyes are on Seemandhra. Political parties have shifted their gears to pocket Seemandhra votes. Naturally, the two leading contenders- TDP-BJP combine and YSR Congress – are way ahead in poll campaigning in Seemandhra than others. Narendra Modi’s public meeting in temple town Tirupati on Wednesday which saw both Chandra Babu and Pawan Kalyan sharing the dais was a huge hit in social and political circles.

Former Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu made an interesting speech that caught attention and set tongues wagging. Read into his speech. Babu said, “I’ll work like a labour in building new capital for Seemandhra. I’ll work hard day and night and I’ll build new capital for Seemandhra within 6 months that is on par with global cities like Singapore. I’ll make sure Andhra Pradesh will get due credit internationally. With the help of Narendra Modi, I’ll make Andhra Pradesh into Swarnandhra.” “Seemandhra needs 15 years special status to taste the fruits of development. We will develop each and every city of Seemandhra like Hyderabad. I’ll bring IT hub for Tirupati,” Babu assured.

Interestingly, Chandra Babu promised that he will sworn in as Chief Minister in Seemandhra but not in Hyderabad which is going to be the joint capital for 10 years. Usually, swearing in ceremonies will be held in Capital cities by Governor. But Babu said he would sworn in Seemandhra land but not in Telangana land.

Babu and Modi said they’re going to rout Corruption and corrupted leaders like Jagan from the roots. Babu said Jagan will be settled in jail after elections. Meanwhile, Pawan Kalyan too lashed out at YSR Congress. Pawan hits out at Jagan, “If you vote for Jagan, it’s like voting to Sonia Gandhi. Both are one at the same. Jagan totally failed in sustaining self-respect, pride of Telugus. Why didn’t Jagan react to KCR when he verbally attacked Seemandhra people, leaders? Did Jagan lose his courage?” Pawn openly extended his full support to TDP in State and BJP at Centre.
