Kamal Haasan is a quintessential movie genius and undoubtedly a walking library. The universal star who recently entered into 60’s club (age) hasn’t given up his fascination for versatile roles. Speaking to media persons in Mumbai, Kamal Haasan has made an appeal to young writers to pen scripts for stars like him. Hinting that there is a dearth for stories, Kamal said, “Young writers are busy scripting for young heroes, gen X stars. I’d urge them to write stories for actors like me too. I’m going to act for another 15 years.”

Interestingly Kamal shared that “age” was always his problem. “When I was five-year old, I wanted to look like twenty-year old. In my twenties, I wished to be in forties. When I finally became a man, I wanted to look young to do various roles. I now hope to be in my twenties.” This is the kind of passion Kamal has for various films, roles. He is true inspiration to generations. Kamal also revealed that he has been in love for filmmaking although he is an actor. “I always wanted to be director. But it’s my guru K. Balachander sir who said I’d be good actor and pushed me to continue in this. Later I became star but I have never given up my penchant for direction.”
