Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has once again proved that he has vision for reinventing of Telangana and working towards it. KCR is said to be committed to make Hyderabad a “slum-less” and a “clean-city”. KCR is apparently chalking out a plan to make twin cities Hyderabad-Secunderabad into slum-less, clean cities in the next five years.
KCR has haled a meeting with GHMC officials recently to discuss the challenges ahead for them in making city clean, slum-less. We hear that KCR has instructed authorities to strictly implement government activities without any delay or procrastination. Officials discussed the steps that need to be taken for achieving this goal.
Slum-less City project is prepared by the top brass of Telangana government and KCR want authorities to implement it on a pilot basis by choosing a slum in the city. As part of the project, officials will identify a slum-area and come up with a plan to build pucca houses in those areas. The government will be providing funds for the activities. Also, KCR told officials to keep City clean.
