Cyclone Hudhud is looking to threaten the North Andhra from Srikakulam to East Godavari. Heavy downpour has already started in Coastal Andhra and this is expected to continue for the next 3 days. Heavy rains are also predicted for few districts of Telangana too. Power in the several parts of Uttarandhra is disrupted from last night and it is expected to take 2-3 days to resume power.

The National highway from Srikakulam to Rajahmundry is already closed and there is no situation to step out of the houses in many parts of Uttarandhra. The cyclone had very severe impact on films as well. The evening and night shows stand cancelled from yesterday itself and it looks the same will continue even today.

Going by the forecast, the shows in several theaters will be cancelled in the next three days. This week releases Dikkulu Chudaku Ramayya, Paatashala and Romeo will need to rake good numbers this weekend. Paatashala and Romeo will almost have their business closed this weekend, in case of the weekend washout, the films will be in big losses.

Dikkulu Chudaku Ramayya has some good talk and the rains will have severe impact on their prospects now. On the other side, the second weekend revenues of Ram Charan’s Govindhudu Andari Vaadele are also very much impacted by the cyclone. Finally Hudhud also caused enough damage to Tollywood too.
