In a controversy involving Ram Charan’s Yevadu posters, High Court passed instructions to halt whatever the investigation going on against the mega hero. Though people have forgotten the case filed by an ex-councilor in Kurnool district, here goes the detail.
Unable to digest the super success of Sankranthi release Yevadu at box office, a political leader named Koneru Nagendra Prasad who happens to be fan of another star-hero has filed a complaint on Yevadu team. He accused that the posters featuring British beauty Amy Jackson in a two piece bikini are outrageous and insulting Hindu culture. Even though the posters have clearance from Censor Board, Emmiganuru police have went on registering the case on Charan, Amy, Dil Raju and others in January.
Charan and Dil Raju have filed a counter petition in AP High Court, stressing that there is no point in filing case against them with Censor Board itself gave clearance. After listening to arguments, HC ordered police to stop the investigation on Yevadu team.
