A helicopter crashed at Downuru in Koyyuru mandal of Visakhapatnam on Thursday.

Koyyuru CI confirmed the crash of the chopper. He, however, is clueless over the exact location of the crash site. Search Operation has been launched by the cops to trace the helicopter.

Details like whether its a Navy helicopter or a Private Chopper is yet to be confirmed. No. of persons in the chopper at the time of accident isn’t yet known. As the incident happened in agency area, Cops were suspicious over the involvement of Maoists. More details of the tragedy is awaited.
