Saraswathi Cements issue took ugly political turn. Farmers and Victims of Saraswathi Cements staged dharna opposite YS Jagan’s Lotus Pond in Hyderabad. Farmers demand YS Jagan to get back their lands to them and shouted slogans against Jagan. This is unexpected shock to YSRCP. Farmers and victims have demand apologies of Jagan and arrest of Macharla MLA Pinnelli.

Saraswathi Power was granted lease in 2009 when YSR was Chief Minister. Management of the company was procured land from the farmers based on the condition to provide employment for each family. Saraswathi Management didn’t start to construct the company till last 5 years. TDP called that this company is related to Jagan’s. Angered farmers are cultivating their land in this year. YSRCP MLA brother Venkata Reddy along with 250 men spoiled the grown crop in this area.

They beat even farmers for growing crops in the assigned land. AP Government has declared that mining lease granted to Saraswathi as lapsed and mentioned that company failed to fulfill in taking up the project. They also met CBN and request him for justice. YSRCP attacked TDP that cancellation of the lease was politically motivated.
