Millions of Indians are not happy to see India out of the World Cup. While the disappointed fans are still trying to console themselves, there are a few who might be happy with India’s exit. The buyers and makers of Jil and Rey that are slated for release on March 27th were worried about the first Sunday collections due to the World Cup Final.

If India made it to the finals, both these movies could have lost the advantage of first Sunday that plays a major role in any film’s business. Now with India out of the world cup buyers will heave a sigh of relief as the final match between Australia and New Zealand will not affect the film business like an India, NZ final! Film business has been dull over past few weeks due to World Cup and Exams season.

Many Sundays were affected due to big matches. Things seem rosy for the new releases as the Cricket fever finally goes down and people will start searching for other sources of entertainment. The biggest benefiter would be the film business, no doubts about that.
