Notwithstanding the mixed reviews, Ram Charan’s recent offing Govindudu Andari Vadele is faring well at the Box Office. The movie is showing good performance with steady collections. Especially in Ceded (Anantapur, Chittoor, Kadapa and Kurnool), the film already raked in over Rs 5 Crore share up to Sunday.
Family audiences are turning out in huge numbers to theatres to watch out family drama, say a distributor from Kurnool. ‘Ladies who have been staying away from watching movies in theatres for a while are making their way to ticket windows.’ The movie is expected to collect Rs 7 to 9 Crore share in second week in Ceded alone.
Allu Arjun’s blockbuster Race Gurram has collected Rs 5.98 Crore share in two weeks whereas Ram Charan showed his Box Office stamina by reaching the figure in first week itself. So Govindudu has beaten Race Gurram. In fact, Race Gurram has Brahmanandam but Charan and Krishna Vamsi achieved the feat without Brahmi. Box Office figures always continue to amuse and surprise industry experts too.
