Lately, India is seeing some bad light in global perspective for being very unruly and cruel towards women. Of course, part of that bad publicity goes to the over enthusiastic Indian media. But if you thought that India is a bad place for women then here is something which happened in Iran. A girl who killed a rapist in self-defense was found guilty and hanged.

This is the story of Reyhaneh Jabbari who resisted a rape attempt from a retired intelligence official and killed him. In a voice message addressed to her mother before death, Reyhaneh shared her thoughts and enlightened on how life would be had she surrendered to the wild lust of a savage man. Reyhaneh was getting overwhelming support from online media in her fight.

This had kept her execution sentence on hold for a long while but the authorities who follow some hardline Islamic fundamentals went ahead and hanged the young girl. She has given out her will through a voice message that is now available for all to read on the internet. It is a rather inhumane and disgusting side of judiciary that the world and the innocent people have to live with. What a shame!
