Flop director Sajid khan with his row flops of Humshakals and Himmatwala breaks out all records in flop show. Both films are kicked out by critics and failed completely at Box office. But despite of all this flop shows director Sajid khan thanks his fans for supporting and encouraging him, he also said that many called him and appreciated for his great work.
“Last week, I was anxious about how the audience would react. Now, I’m at peace as the movie has done well in its opening weekend in India and overseas. I couldn’t please the critics, but that’s been the case with all my films. Criticism and negativity aside, I make films for the people and for me, the audience is king,” said Sajid khan.
Speaking about critics reviews “Believe in popular cinema and that has to be make-believe. I feel this kind of cinema should not be judged harshly. I want to entertain the audience for the two-and-a-half hours that they spend in a theatre. Today, due to internet and social media, everyone has an opinion. The moment you buy a ticket, you become the judge, jury and executioner. In Humshakals, I took a dig at my previous film, Himmatwala, so I’m okay with people making fun of me. “
