Former Minister Anam Ramanaryana Reddy and his brother Anam Vivekananda Reddy have been looking forward to join TDP by breaking the long-term relationship with Congress party.
Responding to the reports of their possible entry into TDP, Anam Ramanarayana Reddy clarified, “I share a 30 years bonding with Chandrababu Naidu. In present situation, There is no leader other than him who could bail out AP from crisis. He is a good administrator. I congratulate him for the victory and also for taking charge as CM. We haven’t received any invitation from TDP yet. Will think, If invited”.
Anam Brothers enjoy good cadre base in Nellore. They, however, faced a defeat in the recent polls only due to the negative wave against Congress.
Sources say, Chandrababu is of the feeling Anam Brothers could effectively lead TDP in Nellore where YSRC appears to be strong opponent. He might invite them into the party after Assembly sessions.
