Election Commission’s representatives are now watching a special show of Balakrishna’s latest flick ‘Legend’ at Prasad Labs in Hyderabad. They are getting ready to take a decision whether to allow the run of this flick at theatres or to ban it.

EC has earlier given clearance that there is nothing to worry about ‘Legend’ when Censor Board asked the makers to procure a NOC from them. But Congress and YSR Congress leaders approached EC again to ban the movie as Balayya is now a politician contesting from Hindupur on Telugudesam ticket. Taking their application into consideration, EC is watching Legend again, this time keeping in mind that Balakrishna is a politician in poll fray.

Whether they have to cut any scenes, mute any dialogues or to ban the movie completely from theatres until Election Code is in effect, is something we will come to know soon. Until then, fingers crossed! Even if EC bans Legend, there will be just two weeks holiday for the movie as elections are scheduled on May 7th, 2014.

Directed by Boyapati Sreenu, Legend is another blockbuster in Balayya’s kitty after a long time. Each and every dialogue uttered by him got well connected with masses. Jagapathi Babu’s first time villain acts, Devi Sri Prasad’s thumping music and Sonal Chauhan’s glamour are treat to watch in the movie.
