The nominations for the prestigious South Indian International Movie Awards – 2012 have been announced recently. Guess, which film grabbed the highest nominations! It’s Mahesh Babu’s money spinner ‘Dookudu’.

After breaking several records at the Box Office, Dookudu is gearing up to repeat its magic at Award ceremonies. This film has been nominated in as many as 10 categories, out of total 15. List of Dookudu’s 11 Nominations: Best Actor [Male] – Mahesh Babu, Best Actor [Female] – Samantha, Best Director – Srinu Vytla, Best Comedian – Brahmanandam & MS Narayana, Best Music Director – Thaman, Best Film – 14 Reels Entertainment, Best Actor in supporting role – Prakash Raj, Best Cinematographer – KV Guhan, Best Lyricist – Ramajogayya Sastry [Guruvaram March 1], Best Playback Singer (Male)-Rahul Nambiar [Guruvaram March1].

The inaugural edition of SIIMA is likely to be held on 22nd of this month in Dubai. Several top film personalities from the south indian film fraternity are expected to grace the glittering ceremony.

The other films with maximum nominations: 100% Love (10), Sri Rama Rajyam (8), Mr. Perfect (8) and Rajanna (5). Winners will be decided by public voting.
