In a major embarrassment to YSR Congress, its senior leader from Visakhapatnam Dadi Veerabhadra Rao has quit the party and blamed its president Jagan Reddy for the crushing defeat of his mother YS Vijayamma in Visakhapatnam Lok Sabha constituency. Lashing out at Jagan, Dadi alleged that “Jagan don’t trust even his own mother and sister” and added, “Afraid of emerging another power center in the party, Jagan denied ticket to YS Sharmila.” Dadi said that Jagan “hardly cared for the victory of his mother” and has done “nothing to improve her winning chances in Vizag”.
Veerabhadra Rao was the former MLC of TDP and served for the party for 30-long-years before joining Jagan’s YSR Congress. Dadi dubbed his previous move to join the YSRCP as “historic blunder”. Veerabhadra Rao said that “Jagan had changed for good after coming out of jail, but in vain. Jagan acts like a monarch. His head-strong attitude was one of the reasons for the defeat.” That’s not all. Dadi alleged, “Jagan has burried the image of late CM YS Rajasekhar Reddy. Jagan has no human values. He hasn’t even worked a little bit for the success of his mother. Looks like, he want his mother to be defeated.”
Veerabhadra Rao added, “Jagan can’t run this party. He has no qualities to run a regional political party. YSR Congress Party is soon going to be expired.” Veerabhadra Rao said he and his family members are quitting YSR Congress Party. He said that he want to “stay away from politics for a while” and “future course of action will be revealed after that.”
