Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee president Dr N Raghuveera Reddy said that the Congress would humbly accept the verdict of people in the municipal elections. Raghuveera Reddy said, “Victory and defeat are part of political life. Irrespective of the outcome of elections, Congress party will remain among the people and try to win back their confidence. There was lot of anger among the people of Seemandhra region over the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh. That was the reason why they did not vote in favour of Congress party in municipal elections.”
Raghuveera Reddy said that the APCC would review the party’s performance after May 16 and would chalk out a strategy to regain the confidence of people of Seemandhra region.
