The Congress party at the state and center is currently embroiled in various issues and one among them has been their inefficiency towards able administration. Many have already declared that the 2014 elections is going to be tough for them and they will face a complete wipeout situation. And congress is already working on the measures.

One among them seems to be the ‘Hindutva’ concept. This is ideally the brainchild of the BJP. But here is the observation, recently the congress went ahead and executed hang sentences for Ajmal Kasab, Afzal Guru. So, the calculation is that by putting an end to these two dreaded terrorists, congress is expecting favoritism from Hindus.

 The idea might work to an extent but then it is not just about killing those who have already done the damage, it is about stopping those who are in the process of creating more disturbance. The recent bomb blasts at Hyderabad is yet another challenge that Congress has to resolve swiftly if they really want some percentage of the Hindu vote bank.
