Pokemon Go made its debut on July 6 in the U.S., Australia and New Zealand and later to a select more regions of Europe and Asia (only Japan) last week. Since then the augmented reality (AR) game has gained unprecedented craze across the world.Last week, Pokemon Go co-founder John Hanke (Niantic head) revealed that the company has plans to release the game to more 200 regions soon, but declined to reveal specific time-line.

With no details on when the AR-game will be released globally, millions of impatient avid gamers have downloaded APK file and started playing with fake residence details, leading to server crashes in official regions. Now, we have been told Hanke is scheduled to host a panel discussion on Pokémon Go at the ongoing San Diego Comic-Con (SSDC) 2016 on July 24 at Hall H between 1.00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. PDT. We believe that Hanke will shed some light on the popular AR-game release details for global regions.

Other panel discussions, which are scheduled to take place at the SDCC 2016 later on Sunday, include Sherlock, Supernatural, Fox’s new Prison Break and 24 series. Each session will be held for one hour.
