Supporters of the Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy raised their  voice against the dismissed minister D L Ravindra Reddy.

CM’s supporters came before the media faulting the attitde of DL and supporting his dismissal. Party MLC Chengalraydu expressed his happiness at the dismissal of the senior leader from the cabinet. He expressed double thanks to the Chief Minister for this. He said the former minister had damaged the party’s prospects in Kadapa district. He has alleged that DL had worked against the party’s candidates in the by-elections and cooperative elections and got them defeated. Referring to the charge of DL that the government schemes were not being properly implemented, the MLC said this was not true.

Government whip Gandra Venkata Ramana Reddy also lashed out at DL. He said his charge that the government schemes were not properly being implemented had annoyed party workers.

Talking to the media, he said it was improper to publicly criticize the government, instead of making suggestions if there were any drawbacks. He has expressed the view that the Chief Minister might have dismissed the defiant minister at the behest of the Congress High Command. He has denied DL’s charge that it was to threaten others that he was dismissed.

AICC secretary Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy said it was the prerogative of the Chief Minister to take ministers or dispense with them. He said the Chief Minister had taken decision with regard to DL with the permission of the Congress High Command. He has suggested that it would be good if senior ministers worked for strengthening the party.
