It is reported that Mega Power Star Ram Charan has gained international fame with ‘RRR’. He is now working on two pan-Indian projects and he has earned a lot of following across the nation. Now, he is getting a rare honorary doctorate from the Vels University of Chennai.

He is getting this doctorate as a recognition for the immense work he has done in the field of entertainment and art. Ram Charan has received his doctorate today in Chennai. He was present with his family and the visuals of him getting the doctorate is going viral on social media. We can see how grandly he was welcomed and Charan expressed his gratitude for receiving this doctorate.

He appreciated and thanked all the students and faculty of this college. He said that 80% of the Telugu film industry started from Chennai and claimed that it is a land of opportunities and dreams. He remembered his childhood and said that he is deeply rooted in Chennai.

Ram Charan is currently working on ‘Game Changer’ which is being made by legendary filmmaker Shankar. It is a political thriller and the first song ‘Jaragandi’ came out recently. Charan will be seen as an IAS officer in this political drama. S Thaman is the music composer while Tirru is the cinematographer and Shameer Muhammed is working on the editing.
