Newly-elected Rajya Sabha member K Chiranjeevi has said that he would take responsibility of ensuring victory of Congress candidates in five constituencies.

Speaking to media persons here on Saturday, Chiranjeevi said that he would take responsibility of Congress win in Ramachandrapuram, Narasapuram, Payakaraopeta, Tirupati and Allagadda constituencies. He also said that he would oppose the decisions taken by the government against the interests of the people.

Chiranjeevi had darshan of Anjaneya Swamy at Burrilanka under Kadiam mandal. On the occasion, several people received injuries when the Congress activists and fans rushed towards Chiranjeevi.
