Chandrababu road map for Airlines @Delhi

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Sri N. Chandrababu Naidu today discussed the road map for aviation policy a high-level meeting with chief executive officers of various airlines in Delhi.

He interacted with CEOs of international carriers like Singapore Airlines, Malaysian Airlines, Emirates and Indian carriers like Jet Airways, SpiceJet, IndiGo and assured them AP will formulate a policy specially designed for the needs of all stakeholders including private operators for the next 15 years.

Showcasing Andhra Pradesh as a hub of eco-tourism, venture tourism , medical tourism and religious tourism, the Chief Minister said his government would provide various inceitives to private aielines operators including a tax incentive on Aviation turbine Fuel (ATF) if the operators make travel passenger-friendly and not burden passengers with additional costs.

Chandrababu Naidu’s offers had instant and spontaneous response from the private operators. The Dubai-based Emirates airlines representatives evinced interest in setting up operation models and the low tariff operator IndiGo Airlines also projected new flights from Visakhapatnam.
