Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu is planning to develop the coastline of Andhra Pradesh on the lines of Gujarat.
While interacting with a delegation of Indian Merchants Chamber from Mumbai, Naidu said, “Multiple ports will be developed on the AP coastline by adopting the Gujarat model. Development of small and major ports will promote trade in the State. Small ports on AP coastline will be more useful from transportation of goods to Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.”
The Chief Minister is also keen to develop temples towns like Simhachalam, Srisailam and Annavaram for religious tourism.
