AP CM Chandrababu Naidu today said the central budget was a bold step forward to to put the country badly hit by mismanagement and scams of UPA govt on the track. Speaking to reporters on the first budget of the UPA Chandrababu said hike in IT tax ceiling for personal tax is a good thing and also allocations for IITs, AIMS etc will help advance scientific research and education.
However he tagged the budget as not very disappointing but also not highly optimistic and hope centers for the states like AP which were still nursing the bruises of unjustified bifurcation of the state. Naidu lauded the budget and Arun Jaitley for focus on long term growth goals and said the Kakinada hardware proposal wll go a long way in promoting employment anhd revenues to AP CM said.
He said he will soon call on Arun Jaitely and seek his support in promoting economic development of AP post bifurcation and to support the strategic program of the state to overcome the financial hurdles. TDP chief said he will visit AP districts for two days in a week and also planned to write to Telangana CM KCR and Governor ESL Narasimhan on issues of tuition fee reimbursement and also counseling for engineering students from AP.
