AP CM Chandrababu Naidu is valaintly fighting for the sake of 9.5 lakh andhra engineering students who are waiting for counseling which is delayed even after a month of EAMCET results in June last.
They are all waiting for admissions into 400 odd engineering colleges in and around Hyderabad, Medak, RR and Nalgonda districts which has to be conducted by the convener of the Telagnana council of higher education which is delayed in the absence of a T govt decision on payment of tuition fee reimbursements to students of AP origin and controversial nativity issue.
Naidu last evening called on Governor ESL Narasimhan and handed him over a letter asking him to use his good offices to get the counseling done at the earliest. ‘Or else, our students will migrate to other states’ he said during the meeting. Naidu told the governor that he has also written to the Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao but had not received any response or even acknowledgement for his letter. Official sources say that the T govt is likely to take a final decision on the burning issue in today’s cabinet meeting.
