In what is being billed as the single biggest populist measure initiated by any state government in the country, Andhra Pradesh CM-elect Chandrababu Naidu is all set to waive off a staggering Rs 54,000 crore that was taken by farmers as loans from various banks This is said to be the first file Naidu will sign after taking over as chief minister on June 8.
Sources say babu will be signing on the first file – Raithu Runa Mafi at 8.35 PM on June 8 th.The second file there in will be for banning the belt shops, The third will be NTR Sujala Program and the fourth will be DWACRA loan waiver. Babu held discussions with bankers and discussed the modalities to implement one of the major promises made by him during his election campaign.After being told that the total loan amount is Rs 54,000 crore, Naidu asked bankers.
