Business tycoon and son-in-law of Congress chief Sonia Gandhi Robert Vadra has smacked down the microphone of a reporter, pushed him aside and even “threatened” cameraman when the reporter asked Mr Vadra about his alleged involvement in land scams in Haryana. The incident took place on Saturday at a private event in New Delhi.
“Are you serious? Are you serious? Are you nuts? What is wrong with you? It’s a mistake (on questioning),” Vadra was caught on camera asking these questions repeatedly, as he lost his temper and stared into the eyes of an ANI reporter and shoved the microphone away. Vadra and his were also heard threatening the cameraman to turn the camera off and “delete” the video.
With the news spread like wild-fire Vadra’s office compelled to give an explanation where it said, “It was a private event and media was not to be there and he thought it’s the private internal photographer asking him questions. He never knew it was ANI.” Also Congress leaders came to the rescue of Vadra.
Meanwhile BJP took on Vadra and Congress over the incident and especially on Vadra’s rude behaviour with media. At the same time, BJP praised the guts of media.
