Is ‘Brand Rajini’ enough to save the film?

Superstar Rajinikanth’s Kochadaiiyaan is the costliest movie made in the recent times. The film is also a new experiment in terms of technology used and the makers are in need of full promotion help by the lead pair to take it in to the audience. But both the actor and actress of the film are not available for the movie. Rajinikanth has slowed down in promoting his films due to age related problems. On the other side. the usually promotion savvy Deepika Padukone is not available due to her other commitments.

Deepika is currently shooting for Farah Khan’s Happy New Year. The schedule currently running is a complicated one which requires dates of many actors. If Deepika happens to leave for Kochadaiiyaan promotion, New Year schedules will go completely haywire. So the actress had already informed Kochadaiiyaan makers about her inability. However, trade analysts say the ‘Brand Rajini’ is enough for taking the movie in to audience.
