After the disastrous show of Congress in Andhra Pradesh, almost all its senior leaders have ditched the party except for one or two. Barring the likes of Chiranjeevi, Raghuveera Reddy, most of its leaders parted their ways either by joining TDP or YSRCP or BJP. Cashing in on the Congress’ poll drubbing, rival political parties too took advantage of the situation and joined leaders from Congress in big numbers. Former PCC chief Botsa Satyanarayana too mulling over quitting Congress and has been staying away from its party activities for a while. While Botsa is trying his best to jon the BJP fold, there are few hurdles for him to sail through to join BJP.
It’s reliably learnt that Botsa has already met BJP president Amit Shah but things haven’t been fruitful so far. Especially his alleged involvement in Volkswagen, corruption in DCCB, family ruling, liquor syndicate, land grabber etc. It is buzzed that Botsa had met Amit Shah with the help of Daggubati Purandeswari for the first time and next with the help of Kanna Lakshminarayana and then with the help of Kavuri Sambasiva Rao but of no use. However, Botsa played the trump card i.e Pawan Kalyan which is said to be working.
For the last time, Botsa has met Amit Shah through Pawan Kalyan and only after which Amit is said to be considering to join Botsa into BJP. Soon after Botsa’s recent meeting, Amit had reportedly telephoned local leaders of AP and enquired over Botsa and whether his joining would be useful to the party or not. Although local leaders expressed that corruption allegations against Botsa would work against, Amit apparently ruled over them and asked whether he is useful for party or not and whether they’d support him if he joins the party or not. On which, BJP local leaders reportedly given their consent and said they’d be all out to the party’s decision.
Botsa has played this tactfully by lobbying through Pawan Kalyan. It’s once again evident that Pawan Kalyan has good sway on the BJP top brass as he’s in their good books. Pawan’s help to Botsa is great and definitely unforgettable. –
