The satellite rights of Allari Naresh’s upcoming film Brother of Bommali has been sold at Rs 4 Crore. Zee Telugu has bought the rights. Considering that Naresh has charming image among family audiences and his comic acts strike a chord with Telly audience, the channel has paid this record price for the project. While Karthika Nair is seen as Naresh’s sister Bommali in the film and plays title role, Naresh is paired up with his Sudigadu actress Monal Gajjar.

Although Naresh’s recent films have bombed at BO, his films have rake in moolah in form of TV commercials. This is one thing that floored the channel to buy Naresh’s upcoming film. Also, the trailer and audio got good applause from all sections.

At a time, TV channels are backing out to buy satellite rights of small-ticket films, Naresh seems to be a game-changer as his movies are like breathe of fresh air. Perhaps, this is what floored the Zee management.
