BJP Telangana unit president G Kishan Reddy reacted on media reports about BJP supporting the YSR Congress Party candidates in Seemandhra region after the fall out in TDP-BJP alliance.
“BJP is not supporting the YSRCP candidates in Seemandhra and we gave tickets to the senior leaders who have been working for the party since a long time. However, I express regrets over some remarks made by TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu criticising BJP.
Naidu should have conveyed his feelings directly to the BJP leadership instead of speaking out the same in a public meeting. Such moves could hurt the TDP-BJP alliance in the State and would send wrong message among the people. Naidu could have spoken to BJP senior leader Prakash Javedkar or others. By criticising BJP, Naidu has raised a question mark over his party’s alliance with the BJP,” Kishan Reddy said.
