The state bifurcation has not only changed the fate of political parties but also showed its impact on Tollywood Post-bifurcation, the domination of Andhra members in the film fraternity has become an eyesore to their counterparts in Telangana who now demand prominent role and division of what was so far Andhra Pradesh Film Chamber of Commerce (APFCC).
At this point of time the comments made by Veteran comedian and present TRS MLA Babu Mohan made comes into discussion. Babu Mohan opined that it is highly unlikely for Telangana and Andhra Pradesh to unite in another 100 years’ time.He also said that he won’t get roles in movies in coming days. He only believes chances of getting roles from Telangana producers only. “I don’t think I will get roles after the way in which the two states have been separated. I may get busy again if Telangana producers make more movies.The impact of bifurcation will surely be felt on T actors.
Personally, I like both the states. I am artiste and I enjoy making others laugh,” says Babu Mohan Babu Mohan originally hailing from Khammam district made his debut political entry from Andole constituency in Medak district. Though he was a nonlocal person, with his filmy glamour and KCR’s support he won the polls twice from the same constituency.
He even worked as a labour minister in TDP government. He did not win from the constituency after 2004 due to the changed political equations there, and faced defeat. He was defeated twice by deputy chief minister Damodar Raja Narasimha. After bifurcation Babu mohan shifted his loyalties to TRS party and won from the constituency with slight margin on Deputy CM
