In yet another surprising move, Karnataka assembly has demanded a ban on the screening of Ramanaidu’s only Punjabi movie Singh Vs Kaur’s heroine Surveen Chawla’s latest movie ‘Hate Story 2’. A couple of MLAs argued that the erotic content in the movie might instigate people to commit crimes including rape.
While the movie got released all over the country last week, MLAs demanded of Karnataka demanded the state CM to order a police examination about ‘Hate Story 2’. With Karnataka becoming rape-capital of India these days with all the horrific rape incidents centred on this state, they felt that the steamy scenes of Surveen Chawla will affect innocent minds. Not to forget, Surveen has literally went over the board in this flick by showcasing her hottest side in two pieces and semi-nakedly.
We have to see what will be final decision of Sandalwood politicians on her film. This might look way too much for cine lovers, but Sandalwood biggies are having their own thoughts. At a time when adult content is easily accessible on cheap smart-phones too, blaming movies for ‘rapes’ sounds disgusting.
