Actor-Hindupur MLA Balakrishna has been tight lipped and maintaining stoic silence with media during ongoing Assembly session. Although Balayya is well-known for his friendly nature with media persons, the reason behind his silence is said to be CM Chandrababu Naidu. Apparently, Mr Naidu has asked Balayya to not talk to media as he is afraid that it would invite more trouble for party and government if media persons ask troubling questions to Balayya.

Chandrababu has reportedly told Balakrishna to be mum at media point during Assembly session in order to avoid unwarranted “problems”. Even Balayya was convinced with Mr Naidu and said to be strictly following it. That’s why when media persons trying to contact him after the assembly session, Balayya is making himself unavailable to them and playing it very safe.

Nandamuri Balakrishna is usually honest and outspoken person and very new to politics. Considering this, Naidu thought that Balayya’s silence would be better for party at the moment.
