None of the Tollywood star heroes have enjoyed a big time at Tollywood Box Office in recent times. All the way from Junior NTR, Mahesh Babu and Ramcharan, each of them have suffered badly with their respective releases. All it started with Junior NTR ‘Rabhasa’ which failed to ignite the BO and also depressed Nandamuri Fans who waited for a long time to see this flick in direction of Santosh Srinivas, produced by Bellamkonda.

Later on Mahesh Babu’s ‘Aagadu’ also tasted a disastrous result with movie closing its business at less than 40 Crores which is very low relative to Mahesh Babu’s current form. Lastly, Ramcharan’s new avatar to attract family audience in the name of ‘Govindudu andari vaadele’ has although enjoyed spending openings, it could not be treated as a product on par with the standards set by Cherry and director Krishna Vamsi. Well, do not search for the reasons on why Tollywood is passing through this lean phase.
