Going by highly-placed sources, Naidu is reportedly upset over the allocation of Narsapur Lok Sabha seat by BJP. Contrary to Naidu’s repeated requests, BJP has not allotted the seat to BJP leader Raghurama Krishnam Raju but decided to field Gokaraju Ganga Raju after Sangh Parivar reportedly backed his candidature. Meanwhile, TDP is also deeply upset with Purandeswari’s candidature from Rajampeta where she has no foot hold. Meanwhile, Naidu is also unhappy over few assembly candidates declared by BJP.
BJP’s AP state incharge and media spokesperson Prakash Javadekar, however, maintained that he is still hopeful of forging alliance with TDP in Seemandhra. It is learnt that this would not be any direct affect on TDP-BJP pact in Telangana as deadline for nominations filing is over. But at gross roots, this is certainly going to have its own repurcursionis in Telangana. This is certainly major setback to both BJP and its PM candidate Narendra Modi.
Meanwhile, CPM Raghavulu has wooed Chandra Babu and openly stated that it is willing to stitch pact with Naidu provided he withdraws support to BJP in Seeemandhra. With this, interesting combinations are coming to fore and political equations are swiftly changing. Stay tuned for more updates.
