Telagnana CM K Chandtrasekhar Rao today reviewed the power situation in the state and also on how to keep the Hyderabad city clean to get international attention.
Reviewing the power crisis KCR told officials that there should be no power cuts to either the agriculture operations during Khariff or domestic and industries. ‘We will buy power at what ever be the cost” he said adding that he had already spoken to Chattisgarh Govt.
KCR said center has also promised to give power from the central sector to tide over the situation till Telagnana attained self sufficiency in power generation. We have coal and water and all that is needed is to harness it into power generation’ he said.
Commenting on the growing garbage menace in Hyderabad city KCR urged officials to create more dumps over 1000 acres in key locations of the state capital to clear garbage efficiently. ‘We mist also explore prospects of using garbage for power generation which could be used for street lighting and other community needs’.
