The postponement of decision on new AP capital today has raised eye brows as both TDP and YSRC circles had hoped to cash in through trade and land interests in the coastal Andhra region. But AP CM stuck to sentiments and also past memories as today happened to be the day former CM YSR had died in chopper crash in 2009.
Asked why he put off the decision today, Chandrababu Naidu told his colleagues that it would not be sentimentally not correct to make any major announcement on the day former CM YS Rajasekhara Reddy had died in a chopper crash.
It was on this day of September 2 2009 that YSR’s helicopter had crash landed at a forest zone in Kurnool district killing all including YSR , his secretary Subramanyam and security men and also two pilots.

YSR might have been a political adversary, but still a great pal of Chandrababu Naidu when both together joined the congress and rose step by step to chalk out their political journey. History also shows that both YSR and Chandrababu had bitterly opposed each other on the floor of the assembly. But that is passe, human relations were still on friendly and comfortable levels.
