Congress senior leader V Hanumantha Rao expressed confidence of his victory from the Amberpet Assembly constituency because if he is elected, he will be the front runner for Telangana CM post.
“I am getting tremendous response from the voters and I would certainly win with a huge majority from the Amberpet seat. Many of my supporters want me to get a good position in Telangana although I agreed to contest the Assembly elections on the directions of Congress High Command. Congress party would form the next government in Telangana and fulfill the promises made by AICC President Sonia Gandhi and Vice-President Rahul Gandhi.
I also condemn Narendra Modi for describing the Congress party’s symbol hand as Khooni Panja because he is the mastermind behind massacre of Muslims in Gujarat in 2002. Modi had no right to comment on Congress party which has been serving the people for last 128 years. Modi’s dream to become the Prime Minister would remain a dream,” VHR claimed. VHR is fighting on BJP’s Kishan Reddy in Amberpet.
