Akkineni Akhil is the new mantra of Tollywood ever since he charmed one and all with his acts in ‘Manam’ climax. From a time, everyone is eagerly waiting to know about the first director of this young chap. He is yet to make his debut as a full-length hero and his first film is going to be special.

Though Deva Katta’s name is heard loud and long till sometime back, seems like result of Auto Nagar Surya has taken its effect on him. Some sources from Annapurna Studios indicated that Manam director Vikram will be directing Akhil’s debut movie. Earlier when this director stated that he wants ample time to prepare script for Akhil, senior romantic hero Nagarjuna thought that he will rope Manam creator for his younger son’s second flick. But it looks like Nag has now stressed Vikram to speed up things and direct Akhil’s debut itself.

On a frank note, it is Vikram’s idea to rope in Akhil for Manam’s climax, so definitely he will have that that passion to launch him properly on a 2 hour canvas. A love story in the lines of Ishq is being written by Vikram at the moment, anytime in the coming days we could hear this news from Akhil.
