Nominations are being filed at all the constituencies by Telugu Desam Party candidates and their publicity campaigns are at full throttle. On one side, Nara Lokesh is trying to woo youths with his whirlwind tours to various parts of state. On the other hand, Balayya is roaring like a lion at Hindupuram, being one of the star campaigners and contenders in 2014 election. Chandra Babu is anyway busy with campaigns. But where is Jr NTR?
Political observers are connecting clues and making ends meet to conclude that there is no question of Jr NTR in this election. Apparently there are three reasons that might have spoiled the chances of young tiger to take up a constructive position in publicity campaigns of TDP. Firstly there is this Kodali Nani issue, who after getting ticket from Naidu due to Junior’s pressure has ditched the party and joined hands with Jagan. In a hush-hush manner our hero tried to distance from the issue, but internally everyone knows how close he is to Nani. This resulted in some strong differences between Jr NTR and Nandamuri family members including Balayya.
Second issue that rocked the boat of JrNTR-TDP’s bonding is Hari Krishna’s episode. At a time when all TDP MPs are playing hide and seek in parliament during bifurcation discussions, Hari Krishna gave them a shock by resigning to his post. Probably angered by this move, he is not even given an assembly ticket this time and publicly Hari vented fumes against his brother in law. Until unless this issue solves, there is no way Jr NTR enters into TDP as the young hero always acts as per his father.
Reading all these developments, both Lokesh and Balayya made indirect comments that Nandamuri family members need not be garlanded with flowers and invited to publicity campaign. Are three reasons not enough to confirm that Jr NTR is out of TDP’s publicity equation for 2014?
