A Bi election became inevitable for Tirupati constituency due to election of Chiranjeevi to Rajya Sabha. Recently, Chandra Babu Naidu attended the birthday celebrations of Mohan Babu and had 2 hours of private conversation with the actor. The actor reportedly is still undecided about taking a decision as his son Vishnu married a girl from YSR party.With his tremedous diction and filmy image, Telugu Desam Party feels it will be an asset to them if Mohan Babu agrees to contest.

On the other side, YSR Congress Party had given the Tirupati seat to B.Karunakar Reddy.
